The cameras are housed in a distinctive rear bar, with both models offering a 50-megapixel main camera that's hardwired to deliver 12.5-megapixel images, as well as a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera. Google claims performance is similar to that of the Snapdragon 888 while offering dedicated cores for security, private computing, and image processing. Based around a brand-new Google-designed chip dubbed the Tensor - after the processing units used in the company's data centers - it's designed to boost the speed and AI capabilities of the phones. Pre-announced in August, Google has taken the wraps off its upcoming Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones. ![]()
